I played a pivotal role in designing the app and web experiences 0-100, developing a cohesive Design System and crafting seamless experiences on both web and app platforms. Over the course of my tenure, blinkoo secured millions in funding with pitch decks and presentations I designed. I also supported the scaling of the Product team.

We started with some research on which problems this product needed to solve. We noticed that video content quickly was becoming prevalent in the majority of internet traffic. But it's not just traffic, 90% of consumers said that their decisions were impacted by how authentic a video looks and feels. So, people before traveling look up videos, and they need to feel authentic.

Advanced Search Options, Categories & Filtering

Each video pinpoints its exact location and provides links to book the experience. The advanced categorisation for each video allows for a place tag, that can go as deep a country, region,city, and activity categories. Each video provides a link to accomodation, travel o any platform to book the experience.

When uploading a video, users can choose to hyper categorise them, or let blinkoo's AI do it instead. There are strict guidelines to respect and the system suggests categories to choose from, but there is also a rewarding system for those who choose to upload more detailed information.

The backoffice experience gives an overview of all videos uploaded into the platform, which moderators can then categorize and check. Each creator has their own statistics, with a breakdown into their expertise.

I worked with blinkoo to craft a future vision with a more strategic approach into the years after 2025. A future version of the platform could have more structured gamification features, like community challenges and client missions from companies, users could earn badges and have upload streaks, in order to be motivated to upload consistently.
